Sometimes the love of philosophy begins with a single question. IPPL’s Question of the Week aims to create just such an experience, encouraging inquiry with a simple, clear quandary that inspires its reader to think differently about day to day experience.
IPPL places bulletin boards in schools and other social spaces with a single question and an attached pen. People see the question, write their response on the board, and then respond to one another. It’s like Facebook with actual walls!
However, we know that not everyone has access to an actual IPPL bulletin board, so we will update the question here, every week, and give everyone around the world the opportunity to join in. Please read the question below and offer your answer, or your response to the answers that came before you. Be nice, be respectful, but feel free to take the conversation where you would like to see it go.
Currently, we have Question of the Week bulletin boards at:
The University of North Dakota (Grand Forks, ND)
The University of Oklahoma (Norman, OK)
Mount May University (Milwaukee, WI)
Central High School (Grand Forks, ND).
As you can see, we’re just getting started. If you’d like to host a bulletin board, let us know. We’ll supply you with the logos and the questions. To let us know you want to participate, write us at email@example.com
